On 25 June 2008, Virotec International plc completed its merger with the Hydrodec Group plc. On the completion of the merger, Virotec’s management agreed to complete to buyout of the Virotec business from the new merged group.
As a result of the above the Virotec business is now privately owned and plans to continue its business with no interruption to its services. The Virotec business will continue to provide innovative solutions for business to achieve sustainable practices.
Daniel Blair, the General Manager of the Australian Operations and part of the management team that now owns part of the business noted that “It is an exciting time for Virotec as more and more businesses strive to achieve sustainability, we are well placed to deliver the appropriate solutions”.
As a result of the merger, the previous shareholders in Virotec International Plc are now shareholders in Hydrodec Group Plc, and the current directors of Virotec would like to wish them well in the future.
