Virotec’s ViroFlow™ technology enables the successful sustainable transformation for processing and manufacturing industries. The ViroFlow™ technology suite is a proven and simple solution that reduces high concentrations of heavy metals, including lead, chromium, nickel, and zinc, as well as Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD), Total Suspended Solids (TSS), phosphorus, odour, along with Copper, Chrome and Arsenate (CCA) in industrial wastewater.
ViroMine™
Virotec's ViroMine™ suite of reagents have the remarkable ability to neutralise acid and remove heavy metals from drainage, process and wastewater across a wide range of applications. This remarkable technology can be applied to economically treat Acid Rock Drainage (also referred to as Acid Mine Drainage or AMD), tailings dam water, sulphidic mine tailings, acid sulphate soils and waste rock dumps to permanently neutralise acid, trap trace metals, prevent leaching and enhance nutrient retention capacity and promote vigorous plant growth.

ViroFlow™ Black
Virotec's ViroFlow™ Black technology is designed for Municipal Wastewater and Biosolids Treatment and reduces phosphorus TSS, BOD, Ammonia and enhances STP throughput. ViroFlow™ Black successfully binds heavy metals into nonbioavailable forms, reduces phosphorus, nitrogen and objectionable odours from sewage effluent and centrate, reduces Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD) and Total Suspended Solids (TSS) in the effluent stream, and treats biosolids for pathogens, odour and other contaminants, while maintaining a stable pH.
